Cagne Sciolte is a trans queer feminist collective that has occupied an ex nightclub in 2013, that has been shut down because of abuse of prostitution. One of the collective’s main activity has been the creation of an antiviolence helpdesk , but they have as well offered the possibility of taking pole dance and language classes. Cagne sciolte is an italian expression to describe female dogs walking freely, with no dog leash. but “Cagna” also means bitch. that’s why the collective has chosen this name, in order to claim their pride of being determined bitches. Like the word “phag” or “nigger” “cagna” has the social use of isolating a rank of people that don’t show proper behaviour’s models accepted by society.
